Unity Law College Successfully Hosts Intra-College Badminton Tournament

Rudrapur – Unity Law College in collaboration with Unity Nursing College, organized the Intra-College Badminton Tournament 2025 on 26th April 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 13 spirited teams, creating an atmosphere of excitement, competitiveness, and sportsmanship across the campus.

The tournament featured intense matches in the boys’ and girls’ doubles categories, where students demonstrated remarkable athleticism, teamwork, and strategic gameplay.

In the Boys Doubles category:

  • Winners: Bhupesh and Abhinav Chhabra (LL.M. 4th Semester)
  • Runners-up: Vikas Chaturvedi (B.A.LL.B. 8th Semester) and Prem Saini (LL.B. 6th Semester)

In the Girls Doubles category:

  • Winners: Preeti and Kajal (Nursing College)
  • Runners-up: Ruma and Kumkum (Nursing College)

The tournament witnessed some thrilling performances, with players giving their best effort to lift the prestigious title. The matches were closely contested, showcasing the dedication, energy, and sportsman spirit of the students.

Dr. Pawan Kumar, Sports Incharge, also addressed the gathering with an inspiring message. He said,

“Sports are essential in shaping a disciplined and determined personality. Today’s matches were a true reflection of the energy, focus, and unity among our students. Winning or losing is part of the game, but the real success lies in participating with full dedication. I urge all students to continue their involvement in sports to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.”

The event was further honored by the presence of several esteemed faculty members including Dr. M.S. Bhandari (College Proctor), Dr. U.C. Joshi (Examination Head), Dr. K.N. Joshi, Mrs. Pallavi Sharma, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Mr. Varun Rai, Mrs. Shretima Dwivedi, Miss Ambika Pandey, Miss Tina Kala, Mr. Amit Bora, Mr. Dharmendra Sisodia, and Mr. Rahul Dumika. Their support and encouragement greatly motivated the participants.

Following the final matches, a prize distribution ceremony was held where winners and runners-up were awarded trophies and certificates. The event concluded with group photographs capturing the joyous and memorable moments of the day.
